Hi NES, Spunky & all to follow.
Well we have had one snowy week. Like 4 different snowstorms.
I had to have my small parking lot cleared 5 times by the plow guy.
I may have to get a part time job in order to pay him off.
It is around 32 degrees now, so some snow is melting but I think it will be awhile before all the snow is gone. But the kids got Friday off from school. Remember snow days? Those were the best.
I may watch some Olympics later today. But then again, I may not.
My twin Grandchildren's Birthday is tomorrow. They will be 4. Time sure flies.
Have a great day everyone. Enjoy your weekend.

NE, Spunky and Plan B. It's about thirty degrees outside with snow falling. Winter carnival is in full swing. Rode through town, so many snowmobiles, the smell of their exhaust could be SEEN! We have a church group in town that wins the snow sculpture almost every year. One year they did a VW bus that people could go into and sit, it had a radio in the dash that was hooked up, somehow, with music. Couldn't tell exactly what they were working on today, maybe a few whales, will have to go back out to see the finished product. (How sad is it that we have enough snow to carve out a few large whales)? The castle the town did was a little rough, but the kids were having fun with it. At five o'clock, there's the always popular homemade, cardboard sled race down Applebee's hill, it's under the lights. Saw a Priest standing in the park getting ready to bless the snowmobiles, he didn't look that happy, I think he was freezing. Other than pancake breakfasts and maple syrup on snow, that's the full schedule! Oh, forgot the wine tasting at the local gift shop, I think people around this area are more into the hard stuff! Have a great evening everyone! Spunky, don't you have time to get out there and do a few spins around the driveway?

LOL teluog!...Yeah I guess I can do a few more spins.....I entertained my neighbors by slipping, sliding, and waving my arms around so much that they probably thought I was kidding around...I wasn't
And its hard to ice skate...especially with boots on....

You guys.
NE......I never saw that phrase written so I thought it was Up and Adam. 😂
Sam. Spunky. teluog...... I envy your snow! teluog, your stories amaze me. I had to share the VW ice bus story with everyone here at the hospital. It got a lot of wows.
I watched the Olympics Opening but it didn't hold my attention. Probably me.

I do believe it is up and at em. Not sure about the spelling.
I always took it to mean, get up & get to task.
Actually, it was an annoying way parents used to wake their children up at some ungodly hour to do chores. I specifically remember my Dad uttering those words a few times.
Kids today have it easy!
