Spunky and Plan B!  Good morning, it's still snowing here!!  I don't think it's going to stop for another four or five days.  I'm thankful we haven't lost power, but a little sun would be nice!  Hope everyone has a good day!

Wow. Woke up and was shocked by the time. Just realized from Spunky's post that the new time kicked in.
It's already late.
teluog. My goodness you guys have a lot of snow. You had mentioned you had lived in MD for a while. I have lots of family there. Is a drastic change for you weather-wise. I am actually headed there Fri for a funeral.

I lived in Alexandria, Virginia for about a year.  It was my first time away from home, worked at a place called Crystal City.  Soon after starting work, there was a bank robbery in the complex, a father and his sons (I think their name was Tuller) they killed people at the bank then drove down south and hi-jacked a plane to Cuba, killing a ticket agent along the way.  It was pretty big in the news at that time.  One Saint Patrick's Day, we went to a nightclub in DC, ended up sitting next to a couple who were pretty drunk, the husband went to get their car and never came back.  I was struck by the fact that everyone assumed he was dead, no-one went outside to see if they could find him, she called her brother to come and pick her up.  It hit me at that time, how do people live like this??  We were so out of touch, we actually stopped to ask a couple of women for directions once, they ended up jumping a hedge and running for their lives.  My little home town looked pretty good at that point, of course, I forgot about all of this darn snow......

Re: Sunday, March 11, 2018

I've been  sorting and purging old paperwork and such.

I'm afraid to watch the weather, I know I've seen headlines about another nor'easter on Monday-but I don't know the details for here.  I still have snow piled so high that I have no idea if I will see daylight if this next round gets dumped on top of that.   Also, the power issue. Knock on wood and crossing everything thats cross-able. No generator here. Just a few miles down the road, in NY, they are still without power from the first go round. BUT perspective is required. There are still thousands in Puerto Rico who still never got their power restored to this day/ And it took how many months to get power back to some? So, I shouldn't complain and therefore I won't.

Hoping everybody has an enjoyable evening. I need a good Sunday dinner. I won't get one but I neeeeeed one LOL

Yes, I hear good and bad about the MD/DC area. Since I have family there, I get there about once a year? The hospitality is great when we go and my cousin is so funny we spend most of the time rolling on the floor, laughing.
Re: couple in the bar....yeah....humor, sadness, fear...all emotions that occur in the flip of a coin. Coping mechanisms. Think they really thought he was dead? Yowsa.
