Advertisers bolted from "The Ingraham Angle" after the host sent a tweet earlier this week mocking David Hogg, one of the student-activists who became a voice for gun control after a shooter murdered 17 people at his high school in Florida on February 14..
A Fox News spokesperson said the week-long absence was pre-planned.

"On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland," she wrote. "For the record, I believe my show was the first to feature David immediately after that horrific shooting and even noted how 'poised' he was given the tragedy. As always he's welcome to return to the show anytime for a productive discussion."The mea culpa did little to quell backlash. Hogg told CNN on Friday that he was unimpressed with her apology and said it was likely prompted by the loss of ad dollars.

As a journalist, if one can call her that, she crossed a line. She attacked him personally. She did the same thing with LeBron. I hope she uses her time off to think about how she comes across to the public.

Tomi Lahren(sp?) is another conservative talker I can't stand. She calls the liberal left snowflakes and winers, and yet that's exactly how she comes across to me when she goes on her rants.
I don't feel the same way about Rachel Maddow. She straight forward and well prepared.

Laura and Anne are both well into their 50's........they should know better. And yes, the fact that they both wear crosses around their necks and yet spew hateful rhetoric bothers me to no end.

They try to stay relevant in order to spew their hatred...
Unfortunately, I read online that Laura will return next week, despite losing over 50 percent of their advertisers!

I wonder if her ratings will go down when she comes back........probably not because her fan base don't care what venom she spews.
