Spunky and those to follow, good morning!  It snowed in the night, sugar snow, big wet flakes, with a small accumulation.  It's supposed to warm up through the day and then get cold tomorrow.  It's a roller-coaster ride, that's for sure!  The weekend's looking nice at this point, although things could turn on us.  Hope everyone gets out to enjoy their day, or stays in where it's warm and cozy, whatever makes their day a good one!

NE....what happened yesterday? Went back in posts and couldn't figure it out. Is kiddo ok? 
Thanks Spunky....forgot it is Wednesday. Yup...it's chilly today...grey and wet. This weather will make appreciate spring more...unless we go straight to summer.

NE, I can just imagine how upsetting it must have been for you, the racing heart, the complete fear.  We never stop worrying about our children.  So glad everything turned out ok, but I'm sure it'll stick with you for a while.

No, what happened is the kiddo sent me a text that said "I'm ok". Since I was buried in boxes and had some nonsense playing on TV (not news) I didn't know about a shooting. So, that was a weird text, (even for my kiddo). Also, it made no sense. Of course hes O.K. Why wouldn't he be? (crazy mommy thinking) then I turned on the TV and saw the active shooter news. I texted him back and he was still vague...and about 30 min after that he explained that they had a non announced shelter in place because nobody knew at the beginning if all the tech companies were getting hit or what. He doesn't work at youtube, but all the big companies (can't speak for the lil ones) have this policy.

So yes, it was terrifying to think that when he texted me, "he was ok", he was probably scared and not knowing what was going to happen. That freaked me out. (think it still is to a degree).
