Stephon Clark, the unarmed black man who was fatally shot by Sacramento police officers, was struck eight times, mostly in his back, according to an independent autopsy released Friday, raising significant questions about the police account that he was a threat to officers when he was hit.
This shooting was just crazy....makes no sense. When will justice prevail in the shootings of young black males in this country? the police thought he had a gun???? It was a cell phone.

This one took place in Brooklyn.
New York City police officers shot and killed a black man who was known to be mentally ill on a Brooklyn street corner on Wednesday afternoon after he pointed what the officers believed was a gun at them, the authorities said. The object, however, turned out to be a metal pipe with a knob on it.

At this point I don't think anything will be done to these dirty cops, they can get away with killing anyone they want to. If these same incidences were being played out with white, unarmed men being shot by black cops, there would be an uproar in this country.

Until laws are changed to specifically address police officers who murder unarmed people, nothing will change..

Sounds crazy but I think these killings are deliberate and gang-like. Almost like a gang initiation. There are too many of them across the country.
What's wrong with the cops? I know the theory....a few bad apples but that is too simple an explanation. Something is amiss for sure. Who goes around shooting young brown men?
You're right Cali.....laws need to be changed. And we need to get members of Congress the hell out of Washington this November. We need new blood.

There's definitely implicit bias at play here by some law enforcement officials as it pertains to black people. Black people are not given the benefit of the doubt but are automatically treated like criminals. We need federal laws that address these police shootings and that hold irresponsible police officers accountable for insane decisions.
