Barbara Bush 92
Barbara Bush has passed away at the age of 92, shortly after refusing further treatment. She passed away in Houston surrounded by her family. She and the President were a wonderful couple, I'm sure he's devastated. Prayers to her family!

Oh, that's sad. She was a lovely woman. May there be some peace for the family.
Watching CNN now. I was never a fan of the Bush Family but just look at the contrast between this classy family and the occupiers of the WH today. Wow.

May she RIP......I guess she knew that her time was near, as she chose to stay home and refused any further medical treatment.
She also was outspoken about Donald Trump. In one of her last interviews, the former first lady said in early 2016 she was "sick" of Trump, who belittled her son repeatedly during the 2016 GOP primary campaign, adding that she doesn't "understand why people are for him."
"I'm a woman," she added. "I'm not crazy about what he says about women."
Most recently, Bush published a note in the spring edition of Smith College's alumnae magazine, where she declared: "I am still old and still in love with the man I married 72 years ago."
Condolences to her huge family and many friends.

Mrs Bush was a a wonderful woman. Classy, smart, graceful, articulate, and honest. I know her family will miss her.

Her funeral will be held at St. Martin's Church in Houston, Texas, and, according to her wishes, it will be a very simple service. The burial ceremony will be private. However, members of the public will be able to pay their respects during visitation to Bush in repose on Friday, also at St. Martin's.

My condolences to the Bush family. She was a great First Lady and a great example of human kindness and spunk. Smart, funny, outspoken and loving.

The former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, President Bill Clinton and George Bush are expected to attend the funeral, but not Donald J. Trump, whom she had criticized during the 2016 presidential campaign.
The first ladies will also attend...including Melania

Bush is survived by her husband, George H.W.; sons George W., Neil, Marvin and Jeb; daughter, Dorothy Bush Koch; 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
