A Southern Baptist leader named, Paige Patterson from Fort Worth, Texas, was removed from his post for making inappropriate comments about women's bodies and abuse of women.  It seems thousands of women signed a petition to have him removed, he was only demoted and he's still being paid.  He counseled physically abused women to just "pray through" the abuse, stay in the abusive relationship, be submissive and try not to get divorced.  In the past, he's joked about how everyone should "own at least one woman."  Where do they dig these people up, what kind of religious training has he been through?
