Good Morning Plan B! Raining this morning and dark....we really need it though after a few weeks of dry, beautiful weather. I think it's going to be steamy this weekend. Friday Night Live starts tomorrow, have never heard of the band, but I think the Beatles are in a couple of weeks. Last summer it rained almost every Friday, tomorrow's supposed to be another nice day! Hope everyone has the weather they enjoy and a great weekend.

Its a VERY windy day, we had thunderstorms/lightning overnight ....thank goodness no major damage in my neck of the woods..

We had to go to Nova Scotia to attend my husband's uncles' funeral. It was a lovely celebration of a man who was cherished by his family and friends. He was 92 and in failing health.
We got to spend time in Halifax after the funeral. The weather was warm, and we had a great dinner at a restaurant called The Bicycle Thief. Unfortunately, my cousin called to tell us my last surviving aunt was dying. We were out walking around the city when hubby's cell phone rang. Not sure if we'll make it back to Nova Scotia for her funeral as its on Cape Breton Island in NS and that's an 8hr drive....one way.

OMG....so sorry to hear that Clean...my condolences to you and your family...your husbands uncle lived a long life and was loved!
And my condolences about your aunt as well!

She's 91 and as sweet as apple pie. You know after we got the news all I could think about was that she'd get to see all of her siblings again.....well all except one....he was a pedophile and if there's a Hell that'd where he probably is.
And too bad that you won't be able to go....that is a long drive.....
I was wondering where you were....the last time you were on here, your son was moving out...

My son has officially moved out as of last Saturday. He's within walking distance of his work. Fingers crossed this will be permanent.

I think I saw a 97 temp in the forecast, at that point I will be in the freezer.

I remember when a 5 hour drive was just nothing, now it seems like a journey LOL
The U. S. Open is back in my old hood. It was so awesome when they had it there in 86 and 95, the traffic was UNREAL, we used to sit and laugh and watch the citidiots at complete standstills on the roads, stuck in their cars. We, locals of course knew how to avoid that nonsense. Good times !
