Re: Friday, June 22, 2018

Hi Spunky and all to follow.
Great weather here.....happy to be home.
Rain this weekend but who cares if all loved ones are safe and sound. I am thinking of the people in the world who have loved ones in harm's way; armed services, children scattered in a strange country, sick family members, only to name a few.
Have a good one all.

Made it before noon !
Happy Friday everybody !

Its lovely outside currently, sunny and not too warm (yet)

I'll take the rain if it keeps temp low

Zeke, you still not a great admirer of the wrong coast? LOL
I've been immersed in CA real estate for the past 4 days. I google drive the neighborhoods and boy it is not as pretty as it is here LOL

Hope everybody has a great day !

The first day I spotted it, while watering, and the hornets/bees started to come after me, I was with the dog (my son's dog) when she saw me run and scream....she ran too, in fact she almost knocked me over trying to get back in the house.

Over the next day or so, I've sprayed bug killer right into it......and that seemed to do it.....I guess, because when my son knocked it down today and jumped on it as it fell, nothing was there.....BUT I still say "he saved" the day, because I was still terrified of it.....the dog too.....we avoided it as much as possible....

My skating skills didn't help....now I need to practice "running"

Hi.....Spunky.....you and your bees....happy you made it out safe. You paint quite a funny picture.
NE......I luv luv luv Jurassic Park. I am going to try to make it this weekend. Yay. Something to look forward to.
There are some parts of CA that are beautiful. LA is not one of them.
INY. It has everything I need and love. Of course, if both my girls end up there, I may be CA bound.

Re: Friday, June 22, 2018

Spunky, glad you survived the bees!  We woke up at one o'clock Friday morning without lights, so I ended up leaving early for the day.  We heard a teenager was out-running the police and hit an electrical pole.  We got power back at eleven.  Guess they finally caught up with him (he left the scene).  Every time I'd enter a room I'd try to turn the light on, you just forget how dependent you are on electricity, and.....no computer!!  It was such a beautiful day earlier, rain is moving in.
