I remember last year...or maybe it was two years ago--time goes so fast...Whoopi made a comment about other shows running repeats all summer but they would be LIVE all summer...and then they were off Memorial Day week, 4th of July week, Labor Day week....and of course there was a bunch of stuff happening during their off time that I would have loved to hear them discuss! I'm guessing they'll be back next week but they never announce it.

And cossysmom is right...they need to discuss these latest happenings....but they really never announce it.

head made some negative remarks about Meghan's dad. Can't remember what he said now. But Meg will have a lot to say when they return. I get that she may be upset about DT talking sh_ _ about her dad but I just find her so annoying.

Zeke, I believe The View is in the News division of ABC--in which case I don't think they should all take vacation at the same time. Somehow shows like Good Morning America manage to be live all year round. Why not rotate the time off and fill in with subs? Now that they've gone to the new format where it's mostly hot topics they really should not shut down.

I agree too!..and it would be nice to have guest co-hosts....maybe they will invite Jerediah back for a visit.
BTW...it was 'new' today.....I missed the part where Avenatti may try to run for President in 2020.....did anyone watch the show today?

Just finished watching the View for today and I heard no mention of Avenatti. They mentioned it in the beginning of the show but not during......maybe they edited it out? Weird.
Spunky...I went back and fast forwarded.....no discussion about Avenatti.

Thanks zeke....they had the sign up indicating the story about Avenatti, off to the side, but I never heard them discussing it....

Me, too. I know they have done that before because I have gone on, looking for stories they do promos for and then they edit them out.
My daughter had a friend who was on the show...doing a fun spot with Joy. I saw it in real time and it was pretty bad. But when I went online to look at it again it had been edited it out. But Avenatti?
