(I'm ahead of this guy on the youtube live stream up there LOL)
The official also said that no shafts found by search teams in the jungle have potential, ruling out drilling as a possible way to rescue the boys.

From what I read this morning 4 of the boys are out and have been taken to the hospital for checkups.
I believe they intend to have them all out today...
Does anyone have any further updates?

BUT ARE THEY ALIVE?

the latest that I heard is that 4 boys are out and are being evaluated. They are preparing to bring the rest out. It apparently went much quicker than anticipated to get the 4 out. I think I heard they have each boy coming out accompanied by two divers.
also, I heard that the parents do not blame the assistant coach--on the contrary they praise him for giving up his food and water for the boys. Apparently the assistant coach was in the worst physical shape of all of them because he gave up what he had for the boys.

As efforts ended for the night, the rescue operation chief said they would resume in 10 to 20 hours because workers "used all the oxygen" and needed to reset their air tanks. Rescue operations were set to resume at 8 a.m. Monday (9 p.m. ET Sunday)...
The boys traveled more than half a mile underwater with the first one coming out of the cave at 5:40 p.m. More than 90 divers have been involved in the dive, according to officials...
"Divers will work with doctors in the cave to examine each the kids' health to determine who should get to come out first," Narongsak said in the morning...President Donald Trump said on Sunday morning that the U.S. "is working very closely with the Government of Thailand to help get all of the children out of the cave and to safety.""Very brave and talented people!" he said on Twitter.
The rescue effort progressed much quicker than expected, with a reporter at the scene — one of the few allowed access to the site by the cave entrance by Thai authorities — apparently told by rescue teams that lowered water levels (up to nearly a foot since Saturday) had shortened the journey out of the cave and made much of the route walkable. Some of the children are poor swimmers, prompting earlier warnings that the nearly three-mile journey out of the cave could take as long as two to four days to complete...“We have reached peak readiness,” continued the governor. “The meaning of readiness is… perfect weather, water and the kids’ readiness, physical and mentally.”Optimism was high that the divers could successfully complete their mission and get the group out of the cave unscathed. The boys and their coach, meanwhile, were said to be mentally prepared to tackle the fraught journey through the tunnels.

and, although the coach was responsible for getting the boys into this dangerous situation, he really was exceptional in keeping them all safe in the cave. He gave up his supplies to keep the kids alive and he was the last one out. He's only 25...I can't imagine doing what he managed to do, and I'm MUCH older than that!

From what I understand, it was common practice for the teams/boys to enter this cave (maybe others) after practice and run to the end, touch "base" and run out. They just got caught in the floods. I hope they stop that game...no fun. End of a nightmare.
