The first day of the Manafort trial...
Mueller and the prosecutors tried to paint a picture of a greedy, money hungry, LIAR....deeply indebted to the Russians.
And I read that the pervert and Giuliani...went on all day trying to distract from the trial by now switching to the "NO COLLUSION" BS that it is not a crime.
But sources said that the pervert was watching TV coverage of the trial all day, and when he wasn't ...that he wanted to be kept updated by all assigned to watch the action in the court room.
Seems the pervert is very nervous of the happenings with the trial and what Mueller and his team have put together for Manafort!
And to quote Donny JR...."love it" !

on day 3 of the trial I read that...the judge is still not allowing the pictures of his lavish life style to be shown to the jurors...The expensive suits, coats and furnishings in his house.
They also explained how he spent millions on updating his home....spent alot of money on landscaping and has the biggest pond in the Hamptons NY...also has a large flower garden in the shape of the letter 'M'.
They also questioned his book keeper and she explained that she had no idea where these numerous accounts came from....
Did anyone hear anthing else.....

A landscaper in the Hamptons described how Paul Manafort — and Manafort alone — commissioned him to care for hundreds of flowers at his house, as well as "one of the biggest ponds in the Hamptons.
" Michael Regolizio of New Leaf Maintenance said Manafort paid for much of the work through international wire transfer, and was his only client to do so.Regolizio testified that Manafort spent about $450,000 on landscaping over five years.
The landscapers initially only handled tree-care for Manafort's Bridgehampton estate. But in 2012, they took over Manafort's entire Bridgehampton home's outdoor work

450,000 over five years is nothing there -that's chump change.

No pond, let alone one of the biggest.
The house is in what was potato fields. 8 million is again chump change out there. Sheesh, 1 million gets you a regular house. * million gets you a pool and tennis court in the middle of a potato field with new builds right next to you. ewww !
According to Property Shark, there's 2.37 acres of land, which includes a 5500 square foot house, with 10 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. There's obviously a tennis court, pool, spa, pool house, half court, formal gardens and a putting green. There are views over farm fields to the north, and the property is near Mecox Bay but not waterfront. We'd suggest a value of about $8 million for the property.

What I read is that is was mainly the accountants testifying today.....the prosecutors are exposing his lies and cheating nicely.....he should have taken a plea deal....
I read that at one point his wife had to leave the court room because she was so upset....well she helped him spend it......that's what happens when you steal, cheat and lie.
Did anyone hear anything else??

The trial started again today....they are hoping that Gates will finally be on the stand....so I guess we will see what happens...

Manafort's accountant Cindy Laporta will be completing her testimony. Last week she said that Manafort asked her to falsify numbers related to his company's profits. Other bookkeepers who worked with Manafort testified that he was intimately involved in all his financial dealings.
His lawyers are going to try to shift the blame to Gates...but the accountant repeated again that Manafort was the only one responsible for his financial affairs!

Today ...finally Rick Gates was on the stand....
Per CNN:"Rick Gates — who was Manafort's right-hand man in their multimillion-dollar political consulting business and was also a deputy campaign manager for Trump — has taken the stand.Gates is now telling the court about his admission that he committed crimes alongside Manafort, to which he pleaded guilty and agreed to cooperate with the federal investigators.Gates also spoke generally about how he worked for Manafort from 2006 until 2016."
He has agreed to testify against Manfort with promises from the Mueller team that he get a reduced sentenced....

Offering evidence against his former partner, Gates described how the two men worked in Ukraine for former pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych, and how Yanukovych's backers moved money from their accounts in Cyprus to Manafort.
Offline
Rick Gates testified Tuesday about money issues that Manafort and his various entities began to experience in 2015 and 2016.Gates characterized the period by saying that vendors would reach out to him and Manafort because "loans had not been paid."
Manafort just continued to stare down his one time protege and friend, knowing that he is destroying his life...

The Judge is a stupid a_ _..keeps inserting himself into the trial....makes me suspicious of his motives, and how his comments may influence the Jury....
Offline
I wonder if this Judge has ulterior motives with regard to the trial....he is just making too many comments against the prosecution ....???
Has anyone heard anything about this??
