Learn something new every day!

Wisconsin-Madison University:  A new clinical trial shows that eating crickets can support the growth of beneficial gut bacteria.  They're not only safe at high doses, but they might reduce inflammation in the body.  I know what I'm doing tonight, I've just got to find my flashlight.  Any takers?

Spunky, bugs are one of my biggest fears!  I don't think I could eat one for any amount of money!!

That's one of the reasons I stopped watching "Survivor."

You can buy crickets to eat in the market in Oaxca city Mexico. In fact crickets were on the menu in most of the restaurants we ate at while we were there this past winter.

Re: Learn something new every day!

once on Shark Tank someone was on who was making granola bars made with crickets!  great source of protein.  I would try them in that form. The Sharks all said they tasted great and it was great product, but from what I recall, none made a deal with him--I think for financial reasons.
