Area in California on fire!
A woman and her 2 great grandchildren that had been missing, have been found perished, as a result of the fire..
The monstrous Carr Fire, burning in Shasta County, engulfed almost 100,000 acres by Sunday night. At least six people have died in the blaze and another seven people are still missing.
Jonathan Cox, a battalion chief and public information officer with with Cal Fire, said the fires in California right now are bigger and faster-burning than many the state has seen before.

That's so sad. I heard about it on the news. There are fires in British Columbia as well. Praying for rain.

Seems like every week there's a new fire out in CA. Very worrisome. Yes, Clean, let's pray that it rains and we can get some peace.

Redding, California (CNN)The catastrophic Carr fire blazed a path of devastation, becoming the 7th most destructive fire in California history as it burned more than 1,100 structures and left six people dead.
Aid victims of the California Carr fireThe fire, which started more than a week ago, has burned 103,772 acres -- scorching an area bigger than the size of Denver.The Carr fire is burning so large and intensely that it created its own localized weather system, making it difficult for experts to predict which way the blaze will spread. Wildfires like this can get so hot they make pyrocumulus clouds, formations that look like mushroom clouds and can be seen for miles.

Ca is still on fire....and in ruins....so sad...
New evacuations were ordered Tuesday evening as more than a dozen wildfires raged across Northern California, with the largest ones killing at least 17 people as they scorched the state's famous wine country.The largest of the deadly fires were burning in Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino counties, with flames ripping through the lush, picturesque landscape.
Officials in the city of Santa Rosa and Sonoma County called for the evacuations of five more areas Tuesday evening. Already, 20,000 people had been ordered to leave the area and other parts of Northern California.
Zeke's daughter lives in CA....in fact. zeke might be there with her as her daughter is about to have a baby....hope they are safe!
