On Tuesday, Duncan Hunter, U.S. Rep. (R-Calif.) and his wife were charged with illegally using more than $250,000 in campaign funds to pay for personal expenses.  They used the money to pay for family trips to Hawaii and Italy, for golf trips, school tuition, theater tickets, etc.  They were "binge spenders."  They tried to conceal their extravagant spending by falsifying campaign records.  He won the California primary in June, even though the news was circulating that there was a federal probe going on.  In 2015, Hunter had his chief of staff try to set up a tour of a U.S. Naval facility in Italy to coincide with his family vacation to justify using funds from the campaign.  When it couldn't be set up for the right date, Duncan told his chief of staff  "Tell the Navy to go ____ themselves."  He was one of trump's first supporters, the slime follows trump wherever he goes.
