When I watched her walk up to her dad's casket and she was so sad and crying, I felt so sad for her. It has been a huge loss, for her. She's having trouble coping and I'm sure she misses him terribly.
His two oldest sons (both in uniform) look just like him.
What do you guys think?

I think that she's taking her father's death really hard and I feel sad for her. I hope she can take comfort knowing that she had such a special bond with her father. He was her hero.....lucky girl.

He seemed strong before this latest battle, it makes it harder to face, I'm sure, not having your parents until old age. Just my personal observation. My parents were in their nineties when they left us, good long lives, it's still hard, but you have more time to prepare.

I feel bad for Meghan. Death is confusing and it takes a while to realize how final it really is....like doors closing left and right. Then the truth hits that you will never see that person again or hear them laugh. It just doesn't seem fair. The only way to feel it and begin to allow any peace surrounding it is to accept it.
She'll no longer be daddy's little girl...that's a tough one.

I agree teluog...
She's having a very difficult time with his passing...
I know a lot of us would complain that she was always bringing up her dad on the View, I guess she had a very close relationship with him....and I honestly don't know how she's going to recover....she may need therapy.
Today when McCain's plane arrived in Washington DC for the last phase...they showed her standing there ....and she seemed very subdued and in control...at first I thought that it was Cindy McCain standing there
but once they showed the casket being pulled from the plane and they started to lower it....she lost control again...I thought she was going to collapse to the ground. So sad
Final note...its very hard to say goodbye to someone we love.....

One by one, McCain's family and then his friends and colleagues approached the coffin to say goodbye. McCain's mother Roberta, 106, came to be with her son.

Can't the lady is 106. Wonder what she eats.

And she was singing all the hymns as the service was progressing....
