Finally, Amber Guyer, the police officer from Dallas who fatally shot her neighbor, has been fired. Guyer is charged with manslaughter. My question is, what took them so long? I think they were actually waiting to see how much attention the case would get. It took her three days to turn herself in and she's out on bond!!!?? Could you or I be allowed to turn ourselves in, three days after shooting someone in their own apartment, after admitting you entered it illegally? Results from the bloodwork that was done on her have not been released yet, big surprise. I'd be shocked if this police officer spends a good amount of time in jail for this.

I hope they throw her butt in jail and throw away the key....she murdered him!
The 30-year-old Guyger said she shot and killed Botham Shem Jean, 26, after she thought she was entering her own apartment, not realizing she was on the wrong floor of her building, police have said. The shooting took place on September 6.
The family of Botham Shem Jean has hired an attorney that is preparing a civil rights claim in Jean's death. He said Guyger's termination makes his case stronger because it shows the city and police department think Guyger "obviously engaged in behavior that doesn't comport with a police officer," he said.
Anything that works to get her behind bars works for me!

Does anyone know if she lived above him or below? Wonder if there was any personal dislike of any kind. Neighbors sometimes know these things.
