It's being reported in the Washington Post that Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) supported the $12 billion bailout for U.S. farmers.  Now he's applying for those same funds for his 750-acre Iowa farm.  The amount Grassley will receive is not yet known.  Sen. Jon Tester (D-Mont.) is also applying for payments.  Twelve members who could also apply for the same aid, have said they won't.  Grassley's net worth was listed at $3.3 million in 2015, Tester's was $3.9 million the same year.  Grassley has received nearly $390,000 in farm subsidies in 21 years, Tester has received $217,000.  Our government at work.
