I loaned my car to my son the week we were at Disney, and when I picked my car up it smelled like fast food. I don't eat fast food and my son told me he hadn't bought any either. Well, today I went to the gym....took my gym bag out of the trunk and when I pulled my head phones out something had chewed them up. Well that got me thinking.I did my workout and then headed back out to the car. When I lifted the hood I picked up the cover the spare tire is under.....and low and behold field Mice had built a home and they were scurrying about. Now I've emptied the trunk and placed 2 of those sticky rodent catcher pads down. Gotta say I'm totally creeped out. Can you imagine driving and then seeing a wild mouse jump on your lap?

I used to have a mouse problem at my old house. the little stinkers were pretty adept at walking right around the traps I had set in my drop ceiling. I worked from home and one little cutie would come out and just sit and look at me...just like a dog, keeping me company. Finally, one day while I was on the phone with a customer the little darling climbed up on my foot! That was the last straw and I went out an bought poison. I felt bad. Snap traps are the most humane, but little stinkers were just too smart. Even now, I sometime think I should have just caught him and kept him for a pet, but he brought it on himself! I hope you have better luck with your mice.

We had Chipmunks in with the cars' air filter...we should have taken it to a garage to change it for us...but to save money we decided to it our selves....and Wow! those little Chipmunks jumped out and ran right at us....scary little disgusting critters...

A man who lives here in the summer but goes to Florida for the winter, came home this spring, started his car up (that had been sitting in his garage for the winter), it caught on fire because mice had built a nest in the motor. Luckily, his neighbor saw it happening and got the car out of the garage, the car kept burning though. They're very destructive, but I used to have a couple of mice as pets when I was young, I think they're really cute.

I went out to check and there are 5 mice stuck to the sticky pad on the back seat and there's 1 more in the trunk. My husband is going to remove them so I can set anothe trap. I feel bad because when I checked they were still alive, but I guess it's for the best.
