In a recent interview, Michelle Obama says it's "the small things" she appreciates the most in life after the White House. "It's opening up my door and walking out and enjoying the weather and sitting on my patio. It's going to my girls' games and just really being a Mom." Regarding life with Barack, "One of the keys to a successful marriage is separate bathrooms." Of former President George W. Bush, she says he has become her "partner in crime at every major thing where all the formers gather. I love him to death, he's a wonderful man. He's a funny man." Sure wish we had her back in the White House, I'm not surprised the stripper steals all of her material when she gives a speech.

As I sit here watching the Melania interview I find I'm missing Michelle more and more.

Me too....Flotus Obama was graceful, smart and no one had to feed her the questions or answers of an interview...

Michelle Obama was constantly out at events, conferences, having people/children to the White House. we knew what she was doing and saw her doing it every week. as I said in a different thread, what does Melania DO? (and she has a staff of 12? for what?)

Also saw both the Obamas interacting with their children with absolute love. When do you ever see trump interacting with his youngest son, never.

Well Melania did hold a baby while she was in Africa. Never mind all the cameras and reporters though.......it brought a tear to my eye🛫🌍👗👠🐅🐘🐆🎥📸🎙

I don't think he has any kind of normal "family" relationship with his wife or any of his children. I think that to him it's more of a business relationship..."what can they do for me?" I saw Jr say something to that effect in an interview--that as children they would visit him at the office and that they really didn't have any kind of relationship with him until they were grown. What a sad life. I think the only good thing I can say about Melania is that she seems to love her son and wants to keep his life private.
