It's very scary.  In GA, there are 53,000 voter registrations on hold.  Supposedly, though, these people would be able to vote by showing valid ID at the polls. The trouble then is that if the registration doesn't completely match the ID, they won't be allowed to vote.  So, if your middle initial is on your driver's license and you failed to put it on the voter registration, you can't vote!

As I understand it, the issue in North Dakota is that you must have ID that shows a street address.  Many Native American reservations only use PO boxes, not street addresses.   This was acceptable in the past, but about a month ago it changed.  In addition, in ND you don't have to register to vote.  You can just show up at the poll with valid ID.  So many of these people won't know they can't vote until election day!
