Glyphosate, the main ingredient in "Roundup," has been found in more than two dozen breakfast cereals.  Glyphosate has been linked to cancer.  Every year, more than 250 million pounds of glyphosate is sprayed on American crops.  The manufacturer of Roundup is Monsanto, they have been ordered to pay nearly $78 million to a man who has claimed he got cancer from using Roundup.  There are hundreds of other cases working their way through the courts.  I live in a small town, the amount of cancer cases is mind boggling, I'm sure it's the same where you live, we are killing ourselves with almost all of the products we use.  I personally live a life free from most chemicals because I have chemical sensitivities, but I'm sure we're still getting some unsafe ingredients in some of the food we eat.  I read that, up until recently, there was formaldehyde in Johnson's baby shampoo.  Now we have a president that couldn't care less what's put into our bodies or environment, we'll see even more cases of these aggressive cancers.  Our dependence on chemicals is so strong, I don't think there's any "going back."
