Whee.....met new baby at the airport. She's a cutie. We slept together this morning and she woke up, looked at me, made eyes like, "ok...I know I have to tolerate you, I know mom's nearby" and went back to sleep.
Funny...at the airport, two old dudes enamored with my daughter and tiny baby, hung out at our car until we were snug and secured inside and drove off. Lol. People think N'yorkers are cold but all you have to do is engage one and you might be pleasantly surprised. Or maybe it was the baby. Even on the plane, everyone was so sweet to them and her seat partner was a man who has two children (one nursing as she is) at home. He helped them get off the plane...picking up stroller, etc. There are nice people still left in the world.
