Gosh. Just watched Friday's show and Meghan brought down the show AGAIN with a "dad" comment. She has in common with one of the guests, that their dads died of the glio brain tumor. Enough already. I had a close friend diagnosed with that one December and he was dead by May. They really need to give this stuff a rest. Then M starts with the tears. Sometimes you have to leave "stuff" at the door when you get to work.

It is a terrible diagnosis...a death sentence.  There is no cure.  My partner's late wife lived 3 months after her diagnosis and spent that entire time in the hospital.  But Meghan seems to be having an unusually difficult time with this and probably should have been going for counseling to deal with the diagnosis and then with his death.  I know everyone deals with grief differently, but by now, she should be able to get thru the day.   Maybe she should let guests on the show know that she's having difficulty with her father's death and ask them to please refrain from discussing him?
