not even 5 min into the show and meghan flew off the handle! Joy was trying to make a point and meghan told her she didn't want to hear what joy had to say. Whoopi went to break (wish she would have let it play out).

Whoopi needs to stop sticking up for Meghan. Joy has every right to voice her opinion. Let Miss Huffy Puffy walk off......she's not the voice for all things politic.....

Whoopi should have told her that everyone is entitled to speak....and voice their opinion.
I don't know why Meghan took this job....its called "The View" and All the co-hosts have a right to their view....
I can't believe that she got away with saying that to Joy....she does that all the time....if they want to speak about ...ex-wives, or girl friends, or hair styles...she says "I'm NOT interested in discussing that"???? WHAT???! get her off the View...PLEASE!
I really do hope her days are numbered!

In Whoopi's defense, I believe she was told to go to break --the camera was on her. I think that since the blow up between Rosie and Elizabeth, they're trying to be careful and downplay the cat fights. However, I would wish they would let it play out. Let the public hear what the ladies have to say and let the public decide how they feel about it. If the producers want to avoid the blow ups, they should tell Meghan that she doesn't need to shout or pout, she can listen to the others, and if she "doesn't want to talk about it," don't. She could easily have let Joy have her say, then calmly said, "I'd like to take this back to President Bush for a moment..."
one more note re: Whoopie...I notice that when SHE is trying to make a point and she's told to go to break, she'll tell the producers that she knows she's supposed to go to break but she's going to finish her point first!

My jaw dropped when Meghan told Joy she didn't want to bring Trump in to the conversation. I get that. They were honouring GHW Bush.....however, how could she(Joy), not compare and point out how different these 2 men were, and further more, Meghan was out of line and beyond rude. I'm glad they went to break. I didn't want to see another split screen smack down. I just would like to hear what Joy may have said to little Miss snotty pants after the camera stopped rolling. Joy looked so mad, and I'm sure I heard her say.....I've had enough right to Meghan's face.

Meghan must be planning to leave. Joy is more valuable on the show than Meghan. Things were better when Jedediah was on the show. This girl brings little to the show.....neither does Abby. These women have nothing but their pedigrees to talk about. Everything else is fairly shallow.

That's exactly what Joy was trying to point out Spunky. Meghan didn't like where Joy was taking the conversation. That's why she interrupted Joy and then insulted her. I watched that segment at least 5 times so I could see and hear how Joy was really pissed at Meghan. I'm sure Joy said something about that exchange, and yes, Joy is more important to that show than Meghan or Abby.
