More than a thousand strangers are going to have a Merry Christmas because of the kindness of Tyler Perry.  The actor and director paid off all the items on layaway at two Atlanta-area Walmart stores for Christmas.  It cost him more than $400,000.  The people had to pay one penny in order to pick up their Christmas gifts.  Gail Benson, owner of the New Orleans Saints, also paid off 408 layaways at a Walmart in New Orleans totaling more than $100,000.  Love to hear the stories of caring that are still out there, hope it continues after the holidays.
