Another one bites the dust
Secretary of Defense, Jim Mattis, is out! He's quit because he doesn't agree with the actions of trump. Now we have no adults in the White House. Well, according to trump he knows more than anyone else anyway, why should we all be worried?? Lord help us. Let's just give him Airforce One, let him take off for any country he wants, as long as he doesn't come back.

I agree...lets put him on the plane and throw away the key....take him to Russia, or Saudi Arabia...on a one way ticket...
Here is part of what Mattis said in his letter....
"Because you have the right to have a Secretary of Defense whose views are better aligned with yours on these and other subjects, I believe it is right for me to step down from my position," Mattis wrote in his letter to the President.

It might be 25th Amendment time. We have an unstable CIC who now conducts "war" via tweet, and without consulting the SOD or military. It should be obvious our nation is at peril with this lunatic at the helm.

the last few moves this president has made frighten me. what will become of our country? he's no longer just a clown, he's a dangerous man. I'm not sure we can make it through two more years and still be able to repair all the damage he's done.

I think he's history for sure. He crossed the line and Mattis is calling him out. If you look at Pence's face in that meeting with DT, Schumer, and Pelosi, Pence looks like the cat waiting to pounce. Peacefully biding his time, he knows he is next in line for the powerhouse position. I am sure people are coming to him in preparation already.
Anyone remember that scene from the first Godfather when the Godfather is dying and Clemenza (I think) turns to Michael and says..." Godfather"........

Another one resigns!!
Washington (CNN)Brett McGurk, the special presidential envoy for the global coalition to counter ISIS, submitted his resignation Friday because of President Donald Trump's decision to pull US forces out of Syria, according to two senior officials and several sources familiar with his thinking.
McGurk had previously said privately that he was going to leave the administration in February of next year.
A State Department official told CNN that McGurk had informed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday that he was resigning, effective December 31.

He forced Mattis out earlier than Mattis had planned to leave....
Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump announced on Sunday he would replace Defense Secretary James Mattis at the start of the new year, two months earlier than Mattis' planned departure.
"I am pleased to announce that our very talented Deputy Secretary of Defense, Patrick Shanahan, will assume the title of Acting Secretary of Defense starting January 1, 2019. Patrick has a long list of accomplishments while serving as Deputy, & previously Boeing. He will be great!" Trump tweeted.
