There's a parrot named Rocco who got himself booted out of an animal sanctuary for having a foul mouth. Thankfully, a woman named Marion Wschnewski came to his rescue and took him home with her. He loves living with Marion, he also loves having access to Alexa and he talks to the device about forty times a day. He uses it to play his favorite music and he tries to order his favorite snacks (the parental lock system keeps him from actually ordering anything) which are strawberries and ice cream. So glad the little guy found someone to give him the home he needed, but can you imagine having to listen to the parrot and Alexa talk all day?

there is a fantastic book, Alex and Me, by Irene Pepperberg, about her work with a grey parrot named Alex. She studied language in parrots. Amazing what this bird learned and could understand. It's a fascinating book.
