Good Morning Plan B....It's a dark day with a little layer of snow covering everything, it looks a little bleak outside! Thankfully we didn't get very much rain over the last couple of weeks, our snowmobile trails are still open. People are out on the lake with their tiny condos, I really don't know how it can be safe with the up and down temperatures, someone ends up going through the ice every year, in at least one town or another around the area, they never seem to learn from it. I hate to even go outside today it looks so cold. Hope everyone has better weather and gets outside to enjoy it.

Good morning Tel. There are ice fishing shacks on the river here where I live. It seems that every year some idiot drives their truck out on to the ice late in the season. It does not end well for the vehicle or the ice shacks.

I haven't seen any vehicles out on the lake yet, it'll happen eventually. What really ticks me off, you see these fathers with their little kids out there when you know it's not safe yet. It's their job to protect them, not put them in danger. They're idiots alright!

My oldest son lives near a lake and one of his neighbors decided to ride his bike onto the lake...
well the ice broke and luckily he was able to grab a nearby branch to stay safe....he had to be rescued....but the whole neighborhood was out there hoping they would get to him in time, before he let go...The rescue guys were NOT happy with him...needless to say...
Its a cold day here with flurries....
