Karen Pence to teach at school that bans LGBTQ employees, students
The Vice President's wife will be returning to a school where she taught art for 12 years.
The school "explicitly bars its employees from engaging in or condoning “homosexual or lesbian sexual activity” and “transgender identity.”
“I am excited to be back in the classroom and doing what I love to do, which is to teach art to elementary students,” Pence said in a statement. “I have missed teaching art, and it’s great to return to the school where I taught art for twelve years.”
"When asked about the school’s policies regarding LGBTQ people, Pence’s communications director said, “It's absurd that her decision to teach art to children at a Christian school, and the school's religious beliefs, are under attack.”

Personally, if I had kids in school, they would not be attending a Christian school. I guess she feels comfortable working in an environment that does not support the LGBTQ community in any way........no surprise!

It always amazes me these people who are so Holier-than-thou, they really need to read the Bible, they stand for the exact opposite of what Jesus preached. I know her husband comes off as a complete phony, he talks down to people like he's this know-it-all.

It's always the holier-than- thou Christians who end up being the most flawed hypocrites........

I'm not opposed to a Christian education, my son attended Christian school and there's a lot to be said for what he learned there. Please don't judge Christian education by this school. My son learned love, kindness, and tolerance--clearly not what this school teaches.
I'm sure Karen Pence has her choice of where to teach. I believe her choice of this school makes a statement. I would be ashamed to be associated with this school.

Karen Pence is just as bad as the pervert and she chooses to work there when she knows what they stand for or are against.
They think they are above everyone else and her choices speak volumes as to what is in her heart.
They are all soul-less and only care about themselves. How embarrassing for her family, that she is such a bigot...

Immanuel Christian School’s policies are not uncommon for an evangelical Christian institution...But the religious right has “elevated sexuality into a litmus test of one’s faith.” However, its policies are out-of-touch with most religious Americans.
Most religious groups in the U.S. support same-sex marriage, according to a 2017 report by the Public Religion Research Institute.
I believe, Mr Vice President, the issue is your views regarding the LGBT community.
