TSA suicide

I've been out of touch these past 2 weeks so I was saddened to hear about what happened at the Orlando airport this past Saturday. I've used that airport more times than I can count as I go to Florida often. A friend of mine was there when it happened. I met her at Pearson airport in Toronto when we were flying home on Saturday. She said it sounded like a gun or bomb had gone off. Her connecting flight was delayed 3 hours. She was shaken up and happy to be safe and sound.
Has anyone heard anything else about the person who jumped. All I know is that he had just finished his shift and he was in his mid 40's.

No....can't imagine how someone could be that terrified to end it all.

We may never find out exactly why he decided to end his life. I'm sure his friends and family are devastated. I just hate to think that his family will be left bearing financial hardship as a result of his death. He worked for TSA. A lot of people survive pay check to pay check. How could he have not been affected?

A TSA employee at the Orlando International airport jumped to his death from a 10th floor balcony of the hotel in the airport. I've not heard anything else about what lead him to kill himself. Such a sad story.
