I need to seriously lose some lbs because I'm feeling sluggish and none of my nicer clothes don't fit. I've had mobility issues and major stress for the past 2 1/2 years and I'm ready to make a change. I'm not a fan of pre packaged diet food. I'm willing to make healthy home cooked food because I believe that's the best way. I'm not a fan of Keto or Atkins either.....I'm not going to stop eating bread. I know I need to cut back on carbs and maybe quit drinking wine for a bit.
Is anyone else here on WW? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

I had a physical on 2/11. My doctor said WW is the best. I think he's right, generally speaking. For me, it's too dependent upon record-keeping. He also said nothing will work without some form of exercise.
Nothing new.....we already know, right?

A friend who's diabetic used Slimfast (I think that's what the drink is called) years ago, she lost weight and her doctor was impressed. That's all I know about that diet. My Mother did WW years ago and lost weight, but it's a commitment.

I agree...a total commitment....I have a couple of friends on Weight Watchers and they have lost alot of weight....and they swear by it....
Oprah is on Weight Watchers too and here is what she said about it
“What Weight Watchers has done for me is offered me the balance and the opportunity to be responsible with what I eat but also to feel satiated, to feel comfortable, to be able to go out to restaurants. It’s given me the chance to live a healthy life and have healthy as the new goal.”
