Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, has announced that:  "Every semi-automatic weapon used in the terror attack on Friday will be banned in this country."  She also added that high-capacity magazines and devices like bump stocks will also be banned.  "Sandy Hook happened 6 years ago and we can't even get the Senate to hold a vote on universal background checks," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.  The mouthpiece for the NRA, Dana Loesch's answering tweet, "the US isn't NZ."  For way too many people, guns mean more to them than their fellow human beings.  New Zealand is doing the right thing for its citizens, too bad we don't have the courage to do the same.
