Good morning, Friday, March 22nd

Hello plan b......it's grey and drab here. No big plans for today. I'll get groceries and put gas in the tank. My grand daughters are coming to spend the night. I love it when they visit. Have a great day!

Good Morning Clean and Plan B....Enjoy every moment with your grands!  It's very dark here with snow, unbelievably we're expecting up to a foot!  That's about the amount that's melted over the last week or so.  Unfortunately, what's falling now isn't sugar snow, it won't melt as fast.  So over this!  Have a fun weekend everyone, Sunday is supposed to be sunny and in the forties.

How are those Turkeys???  are they still peeking into your neighbor's window??

Hoping that everyone has a warm, safe day and the weather they prefer...

Re: Good morning, Friday, March 22nd

When we rode by the neighbor's house yesterday, there wasn't a turkey in sight!  They make the rounds in about a mile radius, going from bird feeder to bird feeder.  The snow has now changed to sugar snow, large, fat, wet flakes, I don't think it'll stay around for long.  I can't even see the neighbor's house across the road.  They're boiling sap already, I think this weekend is what they call maple weekend, open houses around the state where you can stop in and see them boiling and get a little taste.  We've never actually checked it out.  Some also do what they call sugar-on-snow, take the hot syrup and pour it on buckets of snow, making a sticky, toffee-like candy, it's a little too sweet for me.

We have a lot of deer wandering about the neighbourhood, but no wild turkeys.
My gosh you brought back a memory to me......I loved going to the maple sugar shack to get syrup and getting to eat that hardened maple syrup......yummy!

Wow, we've got to be up to eighteen inches of snow!!  I think there are accidents all over the state, because people just won't stay off the roads!  Not supposed to stop snowing until sometime tomorrow, what did we do to deserve this, it's a nightmare.  I think this has been our worst storm of the season yet.  Mueller report has been filed!  Have a cozy, warm night everyone.

Hey everyone.....
Yummy for the maple syrup candy. Unfortunately I love all sugar but it doesn't love me.
No snow here but rain on and off all day. Now it's cold again.
Enjoy your Friday!
