Spunky and zeke…..Rainy and bitter here, took a little drive to pick up some clothes for the grandkids, hurried home as fast as we could because the fog was getting so thick.  Maple Fool's Fest was a little bit rained out yesterday, my grandson came in third in the 4-5 mile race (his age group) he tripped in a pothole, so he might have done better if not for that, second place was his friend who stayed with him until he made sure his ankle was alright.  My granddaughter won first place in the food competition with her maple doughnuts and first place photo contest (her age group).  We won some maple syrup in a raffle, a good day despite the weather.  Basketball, basketball, not going to make the game today it's terrible out.  Hope everyone's staying warm.  zeke, sounds like a fun trip with family, praying for great weather for you and your grandbaby.   Spunky, don't get washed away in all that rain.    

Wow!! what amazing grand kids you have teluog...and the friend that stayed with him is pretty amazing too!..He deserves a 'special' award for doing that!

And zeke so happy that you will get to spend some quality time with your grand daughter....and to see your daughter as well...I am sure you will make the most of it...

And now I'm hungry for a Maple doughnut....I've never had one, but I love Maple syrup...
