Herman Cain's Nomination to the Fed Likely Over Before it Began

Former pizza chain executive and presidential candidate Herman Cain’s bid to join the Federal Reserve Board of Governors may have ended before it even began.
At least four Republican senators have said they are opposed to Cain’s nomination.
But Wall Street is wondering if the developments could help former Trump campaign economic adviser Stephen Moore’s bid for Fed governor.
Last week, President Donald Trump told reporters he had recommended Cain for a seat at the Fed but needed to wait for a background check to clear before formally nominating him. Trump has also said he’d like to nominate Moore, the author of “Trumponomics: Inside the America First Plan to Revive Our Economy,” amid the president’s anger at the Fed’s decision to raise rates four times in 2018.
‘I would vote no’ Spokespeople for Sens. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) confirmed to Yahoo Finance that they oppose Cain for the Fed. A third Republican, North Dakota’s Kevin Cramer, also said he is opposed.

Cain is an asshole.  Wish the head losers would all go away!
