Rusal, the aluminum company partially owned by Russian Oligarch Oleg Depripaska, announced plans to invest around $200 million to build a new aluminum plant in Kentucky just months after the trump administration removed it from the U.S. sanction list.  It's slated to be built in Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's state and will be the biggest new aluminum plant built in the U.S. in decades.  Deripaska is a close ally to Putin.  McConnell was an advocate for lifting sanctions on Rusal.  Deripaska was sanctioned in April 2018 for attempting to meddle in the U.S. elections, guess this is his reward.
