Ben Carson, HUD Secretary, was asked questions by Rep. Katie Porter during a congressional hearing on Tuesday.  She asked a question related to foreclosures and he apparently thought she was talking about Oreo cookies.  She wanted to know why home loans financed through the FHA end up being foreclosed upon more than other properties purchased with other types of loans.  After foreclosures, property is sold at auction, if the property doesn't sell it's referred to as Real Estate Owned (REO).  He was given every opportunity to answer the question she was asking, he thought she was referring to Oreo cookies.  He really came across as an idiot, but he thought it was funny, he later posed with a package of the cookies.  Republicans, the party of stupid.
