Elaine Chao helped secure millions of dollars in federal money requested by her husband, Mitch McConnell, for his home state of Kentucky, by using her official capacity as secretary of the Department of Transportation.  In April, McConnell was able to get at least $78 million in federal funds approved for local projects.  April was the month his re-election announced for 2020.  (hint, hint, buying votes).  "This is the sort of thing that should lead to the impeachment of a corrupt official - that is, if her corrupt husband weren't in a position to block that impeachment."  Walter Shaub, a senior adviser for Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington said.  "We are now a full-fledged banana republic," he added.   I've never seen such corruption, from the top down, the self-proclaimed party of moral superiority has no morals or sense of responsibility to this country.  When they say "put America first," they really mean, every man for himself with me, me, me at the top of the list.  Mitch McConnell is a cancer, smack dab in the middle of the senate, it's time for the people of Kentucky to send him to the trash heap of corrupt politicians.
