For all of trump's promises, 282,242 immigrants have been deported so far in the fiscal year 2019. In comparison, the Obama administration deported 409,849 in the fiscal year 2012. trump has so much to be proud of when it comes to immigration. A four-month-old, Constantin Mutu is believed to be the youngest child separated from his parents by trump. The child was taken from his father at the border last year and spent 5 months in government custody. He was eventually reunited with his parents, who say he just isn't the same happy child. He's 18 months old now, and he can't even walk or speak. trump did an interview with Telemundo that aired on Thursday, he brushed aside any criticisms of the family separations blaming them on Pres. Obama. He's saying, "I brought families together."

Did you hear about the conditions in the children's detention center? These children are not being taken care of. Trumps Lawyers argued in court that it wasn't necessary to provide them with soap and toothbrushes. They are eating frozen food and their clothes are soiled. They are sleeping on concrete floors with nothing but a foil blanket to cover with. Children are taking care of children. Apparently they have no caregiving staff to take care of and supervise the children. This is horrible.

This is gut wrenching. Where is the outrage? Why don't these kids have people fighting for their rights? I'm 100% sure what's happening to these kids is illegal.

This got found out because there are lawyers fighting a class action lawsuit for these kids. We have a law in place that says that kids are not supposed to be held more than 72 hours in detention centers. It is because of this lawsuit that they were able to gain access to the detention center. Now Trumps threat to do those raids makes a lot of sense considering the timing. He was trying to deflect attention but it didn't work. He is also trying to get democrats to agree to change the laws in his favor. It is depressing how far down into the gutter Trump has taken us.

I knew he was deflecting....now I know why. What a pitiful excuse for a human he is.

There should also be information out there for people who might be willing to house these kids for a while. I am sure there are people like that out there.
