Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, was arrested at his Massachusetts home on Monday and appeared before a judge, he has waived extradition to New Hampshire to face charges on 7 counts of negligent homicide. On Friday in a town called Randolph, New Hampshire, 22 riders on 15 motorcycles had just finished dinner and were headed to a nearby veteran's fundraiser, when Zhukovskyy plowed into them killing seven of the bikers. His 2016 Dodge pickup, towing a trailer that hauls cars, crossed the center line, hit the bikes and ended up in the ditch on fire. He not only survived the crash, he wasn't injured. He has a record of driving violations along with the company he works for, Westfield Transport out of Massachusetts. At least one of his violations was for drunk driving. The company has been cited for various violations in the past two years. 2 drivers for possession of narcotic drugs, a driver without a commercial driver's license, speeding and defective equipment. We drive this route often, our favorite restaurant is about 5 miles away from the scene of the accident. The State Police were still there on Sunday directing traffic around scores of people placing flags and laying flowers. Every year, during June, New Hampshire has bike week, it seems there's always a loss of life during that week, this was the worst.
