Take the heat seriously everyone! That's what the National Weather Service is warning as a dangerous heat wave reaches its peak this weekend, with more than two-thirds of the US feeling temperatures push into the triple digits.
Unfortunately, it won't get any better at night. Overnight temperatures over the weekend will not drop below 80 degrees in many cities across the East Coast, the National Weather Service's Weather Prediction Center said.

It's dangerously hot across much of the country this weekend -- so hot, in fact, that police in Braintree, Massachusetts, are imploring would-be criminals to hold off on illegal activity until Monday....

I grew up in a very hot town right on the Hudson River....no fans.....we survived. The sun beat down on that house everyday.
This is a very hot summer....we'll survive but I sure hope it cools down soon!

Well the temp did go down today...right now its 71 degrees, but it's still very humid out...I guess my AC will be on tonight..just to get the humidity temp down ...otherwise it will be too stuffy for my allergies...
