The View is classified as a news show. That said, they should not go on hiatus. I just don't know if contacting ABC will accomplish anything, but I guess it's worth a shot.

I sent them an email as well, don't know if it will do any good though....

They could also stagger the vacation time...for instance two at a time...
 

I feel like they should be back then but wouldn't be surprised if they're off that week too...since it's a holiday week.

I hope that isn't true.  If anything, maybe she will just be a temporary host.  Let's all keep our fingers crossed.

If it's true....I will be very disappointed....I never liked Sherri....she was loud and disgusting....Hope its like you said cossysmom.....maybe a temporary thing.

Can't they invite a real journalist like Meredith Vierra or Nicole Wallace back if they need someone to fill in? Sherrie is just about the stupidest person to ever cohost the show. She should stick to comedy and the game show circuit.
