Update on Alex Trebek

The Jeopardy host has revealed that even though the first round of chemo was successful, the immuno-therapy that followed, wasn't.  His doctors have decided he needs to undergo chemo again.  Trebek is remaining optimistic and says he's not afraid of passing on, he's 79 and says he's had "one hell of a good life."  Sorry to hear he has to go through more treatments, the suffering is heartbreaking.

That's not news I was expecting. Alex is such a class act. I hope his 2nd round of chemo is successful.

Re: Update on Alex Trebek

I am not a Jeopardy watcher but I have it on now. Are these current shows and is Alex Trebek hosting the show while undergoing treatments? If so, that is a real spirit of NEVER giving up, out or in!
My own sister who died of pancreatic cancer watched this show no matter what. She raced home at 7pm every night. She loved Trebek. It makes me sad to watch it because of her.

Did you know that you can go on YouTube and get 10 hours of the Jeopardy theme show music?
(I have no life) Lol.

Re: Update on Alex Trebek

I know he's been working and said he would as long as it didn't affect his performance.  He also said it was having a small affect already.  I don't watch the show myself, but he seems like a very nice guy.  So sorry about your sister!

Thanks, teluog.
Spunky, pancreatic cancer is one of the worst. Most people go down pretty quickly but there is always hope.
