On Friday, after trump said he doesn't really need a trade pact with the Chinese until after the election, Chinese trade negotiators cut their visit to the U.S. short.  He also reiterated that China pays the tariffs, because the lies continue to work with his followers.  I think as we get closer to the election, he'll quickly make a bogus deal, no matter how it hurts the country, as long as he can lie and say he saved the day.
