zeke and Plan B.....Have a wonderful time with your family zeke 
. We're having our meal tonight. Watching my son and his family come back from his in-laws and try to eat a second big meal on Thanksgiving day, I decided it was easier on them doing it the night before. It is my son's favorite meal, so we send them home with all kinds of leftovers. Hope everyone is getting together with family and friends for the holiday, with good traveling weather also.

Good morning Clean, it's turkey with all the fixings. I know Canada does its Thanksgiving in Oct., my Mother was Canadian, that side of the family used to come down and celebrate with us anyway! Always another plate at the table!

If I could celebrate Thanksgiving twice.....believe I would. Where in Canada was your mother from?

My Mother was from Stanstead, I have family in Rock Island, Montreal, Ontario, British Columbia, etc. One of my Great Grandfathers founded a town called Boucherville, in Quebec. From what you've mentioned about dropping down into Maine, do you live anywhere near Lac-Megantic where that terrible fire was? There is a man who works here in town who travels back home on weekends from there. Maybe that's not far enough east.

Well, I've heard of Boucherville because I grew up in Qubec. We live close to Calais Maine so we go to Bangor maybe once a year. I don't live near Lac Megantic.....that was such a tragedy.
