Good morningSpunky and plan b. It's sunny here with just a dusting of snow on the ground. Hubby is home so we can decorate the tree. I'm not doing too much this year. I'm going to do a little baking.....not going overboard tho'. Maybe peanut butter cups, shortbread and one other kind of cookie. I'll make a Tortiere which is a French Canadian meat pie and I'll make beef bourginon to freeze. How much baking does everyone here do? Any favourite recipes?

Spunky and Clean.....Love Canadian meat pie! I make some simple raspberry tarts every year, butter cookies, brownies, things the kids and my husband like. The tarts I can make gluten free, so I can eat those. I might put my tree in this evening. It was a bright sunny day here, a snow storm is expected for tonight into tomorrow. Have a good evening Plan B. Hope zeke is still eating holiday goodies.

Hi Spunky, Clean, and teluog,
Sounds like you guys are enjoying the holiday to it’s fullest. I’m still out of town and I hear the NE is getting a fair share of snow. Oh boy. I’m returning Monday night, hoping the weather doesn’t hinder my travels. You know how it feels to want to get back home when it’s time to get home, right?
