It's a cool, rainy day with temps in the low 40's, its supposed to rain all day....

Spunky and Plan B....It's half rain/half pellets, I wish it would warm up and stay that way. In the distance we can see the Maple company boiling sap, before bed at 11:30, I can look across the fields and hills and see lights and steam coming up from the place, boiling as much as they can, before the season's over. They make everything, maple soap, maple water, the syrup of course, etc. It's been a long season. Have a good day, keep busy!

Hi Spunky and teluog.......
This sounds lovely. What can be more comforting than the thought of warm maple syrup?....teluog....I am going to make me a pancake today.
When this is over, I am going to New England...a get-away. I've spent most of my summers, not the entire summer, but many weeks on Cape Cod. It's a natural "go-to" for me. I've been to VT only once, NH a couple of times, Maine a couple of times, MA and CT a million times...went to school in CT. Today I am longing for a trip....dreaming.
My CA daughter's hubby wants to drive and get us to bring us back to CA. Huh? Lol....but sweet.
My friend called me and said she thinks she has the virus. I'm trying not to think about it.
