We lost a friend in a house fire on Sunday morning.....she was a much loved member of our community, and then this morning, at 6:15 I answered a knock on my door to be told by my dear friend and neighbour that our long time friend's 27 year old son had been found dead in his apartment. I'm devastated. I've known this family for 35 years. Our kids all grew up together.....I have no words.

Clean, there are no words, I'm so sorry for your loss! When added to everything else that's going on, it must seem too much to handle, we're thinking of you.

Thank you all for your kind words. It's surreal right now. The entire world is Topsy Turvy......my friends can't have a proper funeral for their son. They have to wait until their friends and family can gather and no one knows how long it will be until this pandemic ends.

That's the one thing that's been on my mind since this whole thing started. Losing a loved one is hard enough, but then to not be able to come together to celebrate their life is just pouring salt in the wound. My thoughts are with you and you know you can come here to share...or contact us privately if you need to!
