path to the Democratic nomination!
Sanders said he did not make the decision lightly, describing it as a "very difficult and painful decision."
"Over the past few weeks Jane and I, in consultation with top staff, and many of our prominent supporters, have made an honest assessment of the prospects for victory.
If I believed we had a feasible path to the nomination, I would certainly continue the campaign. But it's just not there," he said.

It's for the best! He maybe should have done it before yesterday.

I hope that Joe can pull it off. This is a pivotal moment in American history. This may sound harsh, but if Trump wins again that will be the end of democracy in your country. He's a wanna be dictator.

My fear is that Trump will do something to fix the election. And if somehow Biden still manages to win, Trump will not leave willingly. At this point, I think America can still be saved, but if Trump wins again, this will be an America where I don't want to live anymore.

My fear is that Trump will use the Covid 19 pandemic to cancel the election. And like you, I believe if Biden wins, Trump and his gang of liars and thieves won't go quietly in to the night.

I think Biden can do it. He needs to be careful who he chooses for a running partner. DT is guilty of many things but he now has a ton of blood on his hands and people know that.

I think by Bernie staying in the race as long as he did really helped Biden move to the left.
